With an on growing world population the question on how the Future of the Cities should look like is a pressing topic. This led Oscar Boyson to travel around the globe and start the conversation. He does so by interviewing different citizens as well as specialists in their own field (architects, urbanist, journalist, engineers etc…) with interesting observations and thoughts on the matter.
With the fast development of cities, its population must adapt not necessarily by choice but by necessity. City planning is made by architects and decisions makers but do they cater to the needs of its inhabitants? Inevitably questions arise with the frenetic pace of cities spreading out further at the cost of sustainability. How much can man build over nature and what will there be left?
Hop on a journey with Oscar Boyson through his travels and encounters with insights of the past and what lies ahead of us. This collaborative project is a very interesting watch which will undoubtedly get you thinking of the challenges and solutions ahead for us to live cohesively in our urban environment. Shouldn’t the voice of the population living in these cities be more taken into account?
