The Valencia Lounge Hostel is a far cry from what you could imagine from a normal hostel. The interior design team Masquespacio was given the project to transform this 11 bedroom hostel in the old town of Valencia. Every room was given its own touch to accommodate at best its guest with their personality. There is a different theme in each room such as surf, music or ethnic… The result is very vibrant, colourful and graphical. Masquespacio paid attention to keeping the 20th century elements that you find in traditional homes in Valencia such as coloured floor tilings and plaster moulds on the ceilings. Masquespacio wanted the space to feel cozy with modern elements, such as the graphics found throughout the hostel. Price: Starts at 40 euros.
TRD: I am not a hostel kind of guy but I could easily book a room there.
Did you know: Valencia is third largest city in Spain. It was first mentioned in 2nd BC, as Roman colony. The name of Valencia comes from “valentia”, which means valor, bravery.
