If you are from Sydney you already know the address which is a keeper as it’s been around for some time now. The Butler Sydney is located in Potts Point a short walk from where I live may make me a little bit biased. For those visiting, The Butler is equally pleasurable during the day or at night. As soon as you step inside you feel transported into a chic tropical oasis which extends all the way outside onto the terrace overlooking the Sydney skyline. It’s Tropical meets Manhattan so to say. I particularly love the botanical feel you have on the walls which to me is very reminiscent of the Beverly Hills hotel in LA. The light literally fills the whole place and progressively changes throughout the day to let city lights work their magic when night falls.
You can’t ask for a better location with such views. The Applejack Group who are behind Bondi Hardware, The Botanist, The So Cal and Della Hyde know how to make a venue interesting with a cool atmosphere. As for the food on offering, there are small to larger plates to share between friends and, if you happen to be at least 4 for dinner, I recommend the banquet menu which will avoid hard decisions.
Did you know: The former restaurant which was also named The Butler was a celebrity hotspot throughout the 70s to the 80s.
