Tesla surfboards sell out quickly

Elon Musk’s car company released a limited edition of 200 Tesla surfboards in collaboration with Matt “Mayhem” Biolos and Lost Surfboards that sold out almost immediately despite a $1500 price tag. For the desperate ones who’ve missed out, some boards have already been spotted on Ebay for up to $5000. With that amount of money you could buy yourself 5 very good boards with some spare change left too! So what is all the fuss about? The board isn’t equipped with a battery pack or motor as you will still have to use your arms to paddle out. That said you can say the board is Green is some way as you have to use your own energy. What sets this surfboard apart is that it is made with some of same finishes used on Tesla cars such as the reinforced carbon fibre. The company also states that the board will easily fit either inside or outside the Model S, X and 3. Is it worth it? Only if you have too much cash to spend and want your board with the branding to match your Tesla.
