A rather dandy skateboard short movie

‘New York La La La’ is a fashion infused short movie for l’Officiel Hommes by filmmaker Aaron Rose and artist André Saraiva. The name refers to the faux New York street set in the Paramount Studios bathed in the LA sunlight. Pro skaters Jerry Hsu, Austyn Gillette and Josh Harmony besuited in Dior Homme, Saint Laurent and Prada, ride in slow motion on a Duran Duran pop track “The Chauffeur”. They are confronted by a trio of models in lace lingerie led by Belgian beauty Anouck Lepere which echoes the bands videos from the 80’s. A rather dandy skateboard short movie to watch or watch again if you haven’t done so already.

Did you know: Alan Ollie Gelfand introduced the most basic trick that any aspiring skater should learn known as the “Ollie”. The trick consist of leaping into the air without the use of the hands. It allows to leap onto, off or over any obstacle. (source)
