When people ask me where to stay when visiting Paris, I always recommend the Marais. First reasons first it is central, close to all the restaurants, cafes, fashion stores, parks and my favorite museum, Le Musee Picasso. The fact that I also live here when I reside in Paris for the summer may make me a little biased, but the area feels like a little village where you can walk to everywhere. So now you know you should stay in the Marais, you may be asking yourself in which hotel? If you want a different experience you should consider checking-in at the Paris Boutik Library hotel. This is not just your standard room in any hotel. Paris Boutik is a concept that transform former boutiques into hotel rooms. Chosen for their locations and former functions, they have then been transformed into cosy nests to make your stay feel as if you are at home. The Paris Boutik Librairie (Library in English and translation is bookshop) couldn’t be better positioned right in front of the entrance of Le Marche des Enfants Rouges, which is a market that offers a range of outdoor eateries. With its 45sqm, it has the size of a Parisian apartment with a kitchen, bathroom with a full size tub, and bookshelves throughout housing none less than 4500 books. The design has been executed by the hotel specialists CKA Paris, who have conceived the room as a cocoon thanks to special isolation that let’s no sound inside. BOOK
