When living in Paris I used to own a vintage Mini as a second car. Owning two cars in a city where it is so hard to park and with very efficient public transport made no sense. So I decided to part with one and it was with great reluctance I decided to sell my Mini. I still look back at it today thinking it was a big mistake as I was very attached to it. It was a fun car to drive, had character and was the perfect car to park with the very tight parking spaces available in Paris. This brilliant article for motor enthusiasts of the Mini by Petrolicious takes you to the origins of the creation to the much beloved English favourite. The photos of this beautiful green Mini Cooper are just are equally as interesting as the article by Petrolicious.
TRD: I always say the ideal is to own one Defender, one Mini, one Triumph Bonneville and a vintage vespa.
Did you know: There were 5,387,862 Mini units sold before the end of its production in 2000.
