Well as you already know Paris has some great exhibitions that are not to be missed like going to your favorite restaurants when visiting the City of Light. Maurizio Cattelan is on view at the Musee de la Monnaie ‘till January 8th. His last major show was back in 2011 at the Guggenheim Museum of New York titled “All”. This show is called “Not afraid of Love”, which shows some of his major works displayed in salons throughout the museum. The contrast of the classic 18th architecture of the building and the contemporary art makes his work even more striking and interesting.
TRD: When I look at the horse with its head in the wall it reminds me of my Monday morning arriving at the office.
Did you know: Maurizio Cattelan was a carpenter and designed furniture before becoming famous in the 90’s as an artist.
