Some announcements are particularly more exciting than others. Especially when the news has something to do with the Land Rover Defender. Not so long ago I had posted an article about the end of production of this all time classic that is very much loved by her Majesty the Queen as well as by tasteful car enthusiasts. It was a sad day for those who love this iconic car with its rugged style. So while this Land rover Defender is a 70th year anniversary limited edition of a 150 with a price tag that follows accordingly starting at £150,000. It is not the new model that is expected to be released later this year but an updated model that has kept all its DNA. This 5.0-litre petrol V8 Defender is the most powerful and fastest ever created by Land Rover, with 0-60mph in 5.6sec*. It pays homage to the early high-powered engines in both the Series III Stage 1 V8 from 1979 and subsequent Defenders including the 50th Anniversary Edition, which are highly sought after by enthusiasts and collectors today.
