Having spent 13 consecutive summers in Ibiza, I can say I have a little something for the White Island. When I first set foot in Ibiza I had no idea what to expect. It was love at first sight as I nearly missed my plane home after that first trip. I missed a few others after that and eventually only booked one way tickets, such was the lure of the island.
The island has a bad reputation for those who have heard of it as wild decadent party mecca with tireless club-heads that never sleep. But what Ibiza also has to offer is its very peaceful and beautiful natural elements, for those in seek of that Balearic charm .
Today the island has changed dramatically and unfortunately has lost a bit of its soul as money talks more than the careless freedom it used to offer. Nonetheless, it has had a great place in my life with unforgettable moments and beautiful friendships that I have kept with people living all over the world until today.
