If the summer crowds of the Mediterranean are too much for you to bear, why not head somewhere are bit more quiet like Saint Barth? I love going to places where you get a tropical feel with white wooden houses and green tropical plants, giving you that nice contrast against splashes of colourful flowers like a cherry on a cake. I’m surely not the only one. As you may well know the island is tiny, which is great for steering mass crowds away and giving you the tranquility you’re looking for. The Hotel Villa Marie Saint Barth is the perfect place to stay. It has all you could want with Colonial style architecture, views of the garden or the ocean, and nicely patterned cushions throughout giving those visual pops. It’s tropical elegance at its best that will have you not wanting to come back home. Price: Starts at 350eur. BOOK
