Sound literally takes shape at Bang and Olufsen. After several years of development the Danish company has created a new sound system called The Beosound Shape. The speakers come in the form of hexagonal wall tiles that deliver sound wirelessly. The system is designed to be wall-mounted and customizable so that shape arrangements, colour, size and sound can be defined according to your preferences. Each of the modular shapes will serve a function as either a speaker, amplifier or acoustic damper. The evolving design means it can grow with the way you live in small or big spaces and with the style of you interiors. A hotel lobby for example can add up to 44 panels which would boost the sound performance and act as wall sound installation. Playing your music is easy via Bluetooth, wifi, Apple Airplay, Chromecast or spotify. When not in use B&O have paid attention to the acoustics of the room with the dampening tiles that reduce resonance. You can sign up to receive an invitation to design your own Beosound Shape when the online configuration will be launched. Buy
