Daniel Cordero has created this beautiful video called “Art is theft” where he explores the origin of artistic creation, which can be inspired from your daily life and and borrowed from other artists. It shows you that all creation is inspired and reinterpreted from many sources. And it’s the artist’s ability to transform these sources into his own vision that gives birth to his unique creation. I particularly like the line “Those who do not want to imitate produce nothing”.
