Madrid is always a pleasant city to visit for all it has to offer from its museums to all the traditional restaurants throughout the city. You may want to opt for some local food if you happen to be in town but here is an another option I would definitely recommend on your next trip to the Spanish Capital. Having less than 24 hours to spend in town, a good friend of mine invited me for lunch at Amazonico Restaurant located in the neighbourhood of Salamanca before catching my next flight. Not knowing what to expect I was pleasantly surprised and had to share this address with you if you haven’t already been. As soon as you set foot through the door, Amazonico “welcomes you to the jungle” set in a chic tropical decor with a nice atmosphere. The menu is inspired by tropical, Asian and Mediterranean cuisine, with references to Brazilian gastronomy by chef Sandro Silva’s and is all but delicious. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a long lunch, dinner or have a drink. And if you’re up for some tunes The Jungle Jazz Club plays live music every day of the week.
