Airbnb have partnered with the Louvre to celebrate the 30 years of its iconic pyramid by Im Pei. For one night only the Louvre will be set up like an apartment for a lucky draw winner with a guest of choice. This chance of a lifetime will take place when the doors close at sunset April 30th. If you want to try your luck you can enter the contest by April 12th here.
Airbnb’s sleepover at the Louvre will be a unique experience as you would imagine, with a fun program throughout the night.
To start off, a VIP guided tour of the Louvre will be given with no crowd around, You would normally need to be a head of state or A list VIP to get such treatment.
Then aperitivo will be served in a beautiful living room set right in front of the Mona Lisa. Such intimacy with the “Dame” is a very rare occasion considering she is always surrounded by a crowd of admirers taking photos and selfies.
As for dinner you will get to sit in company of another host none less than the “Venus of Milo”. A personal chef will be there to fulfil the guests appetite with “a menu inspired by love and beauty”.
After desert it will time to unwind and enjoy an intimate acoustic concert in the opulent lounge room of Napoleon III.
And to finish off, your room will be ready set under the iconic glass pyramid. Breakfast will be served as you wake up after a night you will always remember. More info
