When Adidas digs back into its archive you can usually expect something good to come out. This is the case with the Adidas BW Army trainers which were born in the 1970’s to serve the German armed forces. You may notice they have a strong similarity with the Martin Margiela sneakers who have made replicas. But these are the originals, the true source from which the Martin Margiela’s are blatantly inspired from (source). Two versions are available in either white or black with suede overlay and gum sole. What I particularly love is that the design is very minimal and clean without any overbearing branding.
